📝 The Search Box
The Search Assessment box searches across all assessment-related fields:
- Course Name — Title of the course
- Assessment — Assessment methods (exams, coursework, etc.)
- Components of Assessment — Detailed component breakdown with weightings
- Additional Information — Extra assessment details and requirements
Key point: Search finds exact matches across all fields. Use AND/OR for multiple terms, quotes for exact phrases.
🔍 Search Syntax & Examples
Simple keyword search:
portfolio — Finds all courses mentioning "portfolio"
exam — Finds all courses with "exam"
presentation — Finds courses with presentations
Multiple terms (both required):
reflective AND presentation — Both terms must appear
portfolio AND essay — Both terms required
Multiple terms (either works):
portfolio OR presentation — Either term is fine
exam OR coursework — Either method
Exact phrase search (use quotes):
"8,000-word" — Finds exact phrase
"group project" — Exact multi-word phrase
🔎 Filters (separate from search)
Course Code filter: Type a course code prefix to narrow results (e.g., "AFRI08" shows all AFRI08 courses)
Subject Area dropdown: Select a specific subject to see only courses from that area
Filters and search work together—use both to refine results.

📊 Dynamic Statistics
The four tiles at the top show:
- Total Courses: Always 585 (complete dataset)
- Results Found: Courses matching your search and filters
- With Assessment Data: Results that have DRPS assessment information
- With Components: Results with detailed component breakdowns
The last two update dynamically so you can see data quality in your filtered results.
